Kult Ov Azazel Interview

Hail   Xaphan & Kult Ov Azazel, how do you do nowadays?Fuckin spring is at hand and this feeling of nervous breakdown kills me…

Things are going quite well actually. We have spent the past 10 days rehearsing for the Northern Lights Festival we are co-headlining in Canada in June. Last month we completed the writing for our next assault and we are in the works of putting together a European tour and perhaps some dates for the west coast here in the US.

May you tell us about K.O.A releases so far,and your latest line up?

Kult ov Azazel was formed in the spring equinox of 1999 under the infernal name Azazel consisting of Xaphan (myself) on guitar/vocals, Xul on vocals/bass and Von on drums. Under this name and lineup we recorded and released “Order of the Fly”. Soon after Von was booted out and Hellspawn took over drum duties and with this lineup we recorded and released the material on the split CD with Krieg (USA). In the spring of 2000 we kicked out Hellspawn, decided to change the band name to Kult ov Azazel and signed a 4 album deal with Arctic Music. In March 2001 we released our first full length “Triumph of Fire” with Vetis participating as a session drummer on that release. We have also participated in a 7” split with Satan’s Blood (GER); a 4 way split with Obitus (SWE), Humanicide (USA) and Thylord (FRA) and have been included on numerous compilations. In 2003 we launched our second major offensive for Arctic Music titled “Oculus Infernum” which is the first time we have recorded with a full permanent lineup which now consists of myself (vocals/guitar), Xul (vocals/ bass), Nocturath (guitar/backing vocals) and The Hammer (drums). Currently we are working on a new album titled “The World, The Flesh & The Devil”.

Last Disasterpiece,’’Oculus Infernum’’has came from Arctic Music,so why did you change your label?are you content with the current one?

I don’t know what you mean. We have never changed labels since the only label we have ever signed with has been Arctic Music. But yes, we are very pleased to be working with them.

You are a black metal band from Florida, how it feels when you come from the motherland of the death/grind metal? Also,do youlisten Death/Grindcore besides listening Black Metal?

I listen to all forms of metal in but more so black metal in general. Not much death metal or grind has impressed me since 1994. There’s some but not much but being a black metal band in Florida doesn’t feel any different than it would if we were from any other place in the world or so I would imagine. People from outside the US believe that Florida is like some death metal utopia when in reality it is far from it. There have been only a handful of bands over the years that have managed to impress me and who are worth listening to as opposed to how it was back in the early 90’s when all the great bands were coming out of Florida.

‘Misanthropic Black Metal’is a splendid definiton, but actually i wonder are the members of Kult ov Azazel really living in a true misanthropic way?or is it just a definition?

It’s both. We each have our own disdain towards humans. I don’t like people; never have been what one would call a people person. I would rather sit in my home alone listening to music or playing my guitar rather than be surrounded by people I have nothing in common with. Generally just being around people makes my skin crawl.

Do you have any side projects?

I play bass in Hateplow when needed. Since it’s the Malevolent Creation guys’ side project it doesn’t take up too much of my time. It’s something they do on their down time and mostly since I joined in 2001 it has only been tours.

What are you listening nowadays?just listened Dark Throne s(best Regards to the legend!)’’Hate Them’’still true fuckin black metal man!!

That Darkthrone is a great album. I haven’t been listening to a lot of music lately since like I said earlier we have been rehearsing a lot. The last CD I listened to was Of Human Bondage which is a killer Canadian band.

What do you depict in lyrics?and what are your inspiration while writing this luciferian poetry?

Our lyrics depict satanic and nihilistic ideologies. The inspiration for the lyrics always comes from the music. Our lyrics are always the last piece of the puzzle. The music evokes the lyrics.

Are you working on a new fiendish manifesto(material) at the moment? You recently honored a complilation with ‘Blood Stained Dusk,Legion,Abigor ….’’

Yeah that was the “Casting Eternal Fires” compilation released by Spectral Arts Production. It was an honor for us to have been a part of it and yes we have new material. I mentioned earlier that we finished up the writing last month. It will be titled “The World, The Flesh & The Devil”. We also have recorded the track which will end up being a split 7” with Krieg sometime soon.

Tell some about your live rituals?

Not much really to say about them. We don’t use any stage props or any gimmicks to enhance our show. Fuck theatrics! We are firm believers in letting the music and atmosphere created speak for itself.

What do you think about n.socialism in black metal?

There are ones that wish to bastardize black metal and use it as their own personal soap box. I say when it moves away from occult/satanic subjects then it’s not black metal. Once it has a political motive or any other agenda it loses its black metal status.

What do you think anout your government s attitudes

Fuck the opinion of the US government or any other government for that matter. Government is just another tool in the oppression of free will and individual thought.. The open grave they shall possess will be the result of total, terrible, universal, and vengeful destruction!

Ritual is over Xaphan, thanx for honouring the FROST pages!

I thank you for giving us space in Frost and for your support.

Averse Sefira Interview

Hail Wrath!i hope everything is ok there!

W: Things are satisfactory, yes.

May you give us your brief history so that we can know much about Averse Sefira?and latest line up of course…

W:  It was in 1996 that Sanguine and I formed the band.“Blasphomet Sin Abset” was released in 1997.  “Homecomings March” was released by Arrogare Records in 1999. “Battle’s Clarion” was released in 2001 by Lost Disciple Records, featuring The Carcass on drums. “Homecoming’s March” was re-released in 2003 by EvilHorde Records.

How are the reactions to Battles Clarion?in magazines etc?

W: They were mostly positive, we were satisfied with the results. Then again, what we do is ultimately about us, and not approval of others.

In which studio you recorded the album?what exactly made you prefer to record album in this studio?

W: We used Isotopia studios in Austin, Texas.  We used it because we were friendly with our engineer (Batlord) and it was the right price for our budget.

Are you content with your label?

W: Lost Disciple treated us well, and now Evil Horde Records treats us just as well. No complaints.

What are your influences  while writing the Averse Sefira s music?

W: Black Metal.

What the name of Averse Sefira stands for?

W: Averse Sefira means Opposition and Nihilism, Belief in Nothing and Conviction, it means pride.

There are various elements in your music, some technical parts which smell like technical death/grind metal.will we hear that kind of various elements in future releases?

W: I would never use the term “grind” to describe any elements in our work. We will keep using blast beats, yes, but that is not exclusive to death/grind in my opinion.

Who writes the majority of the music?

W: Sanguine.

Which current bands do you support/listen?

W: Absu, Krieg, Melechesh, Funeral Mist, Watain, Malign, Secrets of the Moon, Antaeus, Katharsis, Winterblut, Trails of Anguish, Unquintessence, Saevus, Mysteriis, Immolation, Nile.

How are your gigs?may u tell us more about your concerts?

W: We have had great shows in Europe, Canada, and South America. We appreciate the support we get from the rest of the world. Too bad the US doens’t care about or understand this music.

Can you give some subjects which make you annoyed/angry?it can be related to todays scene/bands or about daily life?

W: Airing complaints with the world gives them live and poisons one’s mind. I have come to a point where I would rather do my best to disregard the more unpleasant aspects of life.

Thanx for your answers, close the interview please!

W: thanks for the support. All hail.

Grand Belial’s Key Interview

There has been much talk about the strength of the USBM scene over recent times. While there is a higher caliber of USBM bands active right now, the
surge in popularity has also led to a horde of second-rate bands as well and the scene has developed as many denouncers as it has new devotees.Particularly, both Krieg (Imperial) and Judas Iscariot (Akhenaten) have been
extremely vocal in their distaste for the scene right now. What is your opinion of the current state of USBM?
GBK: First of all, what scene? Second of all, if there is any scene at all, the two individuals you speak of helped make it what it is today. Don’t
know what they’re complaining about. There is no strength in the scene, in my opinion.

What do you feel are the best and worst USBM releases to date?
GBK: They’re all pretty terrible, actually. I’m lost for bands to mentionbut CRUCIFIER comes to mind as an example of a genuine American death/black
metal band. I’m sick of listening to clones of Darkthrone, Burzum, and Immortal. There is no originality in our domestic black metal efforts
.
What is the first relatively “modern” black metal album (referring to the Norwegian uprising as opposed to the BM forefathers ala Venom, etc.) that
really captured you and sparked your interest in the genre?
GBK: Early Rotting Christ, Blasphemy, Sarcofago, Samael, Master’s Hammer, Impaled Nazarene, Necromantia, Nunslaughter, Beherit, and stuff like that comes to mind. However, our interest was sparked by our interest in death metal like Autopsy, Morbid Angel, and old bands like Razor, Possessed, Carnivore, Dark Angel, Mercyful Fate, etc…Our black metal was a reaction to these bands, not to the Norwegian uprising. Listen to our music, it has no Norwegian influence in either sound, lyrics, or composition
On that note, what traditional black metal bands do you feel were most important to the development of the genre?(regarding Venom, Hellhammer,
Bathory as well as Mayhem,Dark Throne and Burzum)
GBK: I’m not sure, perhaps early Bathory is the band that most resembles the eventual evolution of black metal. Everyone says the same thing, though,
and mentions the same bands. All I know is that I never listened to Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, or Sodom at all. I preferred thrash bands and
speed metal, and then straight up death metal.
What three books would you say have been most influential in the development of your personal beliefs and philosophies?(If there are some,
that is.)
GBK: The Old Testament/New Testament covers history, religion, ethnicity, morality, and mortality. This is the basis for our Western Civilization
Many black metal acts go for a minimalist approach to recording, insisting on raw production ala Krieg and Darkthrone (Transylvanian Hunger,
Under A Funeral Moon, etc.), associating a bigger sound with more commercial black metal acts such as Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. The sound on
Kosherat and Judeobeast Assassination is huge in contrast to many of your contemporaries – did you ever consider the raw/minimalist approach and have you experienced any negative feedback as a result of having a more grandiose sound?
GBK: It was my intent from the beginning to create something original and unique. My goal was to have anyone identify the band as G.B.K. from the
moment the first note was heard. The recording process only enhances the mood, it doesn’t creat it. We sound like GBK with great recording such as
“Kosherat” or awful 4-track recordings like our 7”eps such as “The Tricifixion of Swine” or “A Witness to the Regicide”.
Much of the focus of black metal is on a general hatred for humanity and spreading this message of hate, as well as scorning most popular media and
culture. The popularity of black metal has grown immensely over the past few years, which leads to the possibility (however unlikely) of black metal
bands becoming accepted as a part of popular culture. If Grand Belial’s Key was given the opportunity for major media exposure large tours, video rotation, radio play, etc. would you use this as a platform to further spread your message or consider it to be in direct conflict with the ideals
upon which the band is based?
GBK: First of all, GBK will never get such opportunity. We cannot even play in certain parts of Europe due to threats, lefties, or laws that deem our music illegal (Toronoto gig was also cancelled due to Antifa involvement). Second, if we had that opportunity to channel our lryics via mass media, the opportunity would end soon after. Popular black metal that is widely known is only a mirage. It is not authentic nor does it transmit true hatred; it
is a fabricated imagery similar to popular horror movies, nothing more. There is no real Jason from Friday the 13th, and there is not real black
metal agenda in bands that appear on MTV or video rotation (whatever that is). That type of black metal is about as threatening as Aphazel of
Norway’s ANCIENT with a spoon. In 1994 we were offered this huge ass record deal wiht CACOPHONOUS records in UK which consisted of appearances, videos, posters, and all sorts of other shit. The contract was heavier than my bible. We turned them down and signed with underground label Wood-Nymph Records from Belgium. It was our instinct to do so. Perhaps that is the
answer you’re looking for with regards to our conflict of ideals.
Without stopping to think about it, what are your 5 all-time favorite albums?
GBK: SLAYER “Raining Blood”, VIO-LENCE “Eternal Nightmre”, MERCYFUL FATE
“Don’t Break the Oath”, BATHORY “Blood Fire Death”, AUTOPSY “Mental Funeral”. Let me add NO REMORSE “Barbecue in Rostock” as well, and you know
why, correct?
If you could tour with any three bands, who would they be? Any band,
whether still together or not.
GBK: CHAOS 88, DUB BUK, OBTEST…
What one song do you feel is most indicative of what you hope to accomplish with Grand Belial’s Key?
GBK: The song “Vultures of M?sfortune” is perhaps the song that best paints the picture of the horrific ways of ancient Jewish culture.
How much of your living is made from Grand Belial’s Key?
GBK: You mean money? We don’t live from GBK at all. The day I depend on music to feed myself is the day I’ll be a glam rocker. Perhaps I could play
country music as it seems quite popular here. We have to pay to make GBK
possible.
Are there any new bands that you have been into recently? And,a personal question,do you know AD HOMINEM from France and if yes,do you like their
music? They are very strong (one man band-Kaiser.W.,though)in term sof music and ideology…
GBK: AD HOMINEM is a very good band, I’ve got their recordings and am in touch with K.W, sure. Even though I have a serious problem with drum
machines, they’ve managed to have the listener forget about the lack of a real drummer. Any new bands? Geihmre (Canada), Nocturnal Fear (Detroit), are what comes to mind. Many of the eastern European bands are also worth
mentioning for their continued efforts such as Nokturnal Mortum, Dub Buk, Obtest, Wolf’s Moon, Temnozor, Capricornus, etc…
What is the importance of the ideology in black metal for you?
GBK: I rather not involucrate any comrades at this time. Ideology is the most important aspect of a black or death metal outfit. Without ideology,
it is just noise. Ideology without good music are just thoughts. Exemplary black metal must have both.
It is a very fine line indeed as “opinions” can be considered “political”. However, when a band claims not to be political, they mean they have no interest in anything that surrounds them.
On the other hand, lets say,if you happen to jailed one day,can you imagine that how would be your condition ?I mean, may be because of GBK,or
because of any other thing…Meantime, have you ever had problems with the police? Is the US laws strict on arsonism, religious fanaticism etc?
GBK: We haven’t had problems with anyone in America until very recently. In all fairness, the police targeted a gig we had planned not because of GBK, but because of the band we had planned on bringing to Virginia. In Americawe do have freedom of speech for now.
Here we reached to the end, thanks a lot for the contribution! Finish this interview quoting the words of a man you admire the most please!
GBK: Fine, then here is the quote: “I have a dream…” by M.L.K.

Hordes Of The Lunar Eclipse Interview

1.             Salut Hordes of the Lunar Eclipse! How is your life
nowadays?both
> spiritually and musically speaking,of course.
Hei there, what are the latest new from Hordes..
Hello Frost Mag!!!

How is life?  Well, life is… life.  Spiritually and musically, we are
strong.  All else is simply …life.

>             2.             Lets start with the historical backround of the Horde of The
> Lunar Eclipse,i mean let us know much about the band…
“Hordes” began in the mid 90’s by Tophetarath and myself.  We began
writing material, some of which was used on the “Dancing Demons” album,
and recorded our 1st single, “Lunœr Protean Beastiation” on 4-track
cassette.  Shortly thereafter we added Süültanivus (ex-Cryptic) on
guitar and continued writing.  We recorded a single for an early Dark
Horizon Compilation, a song called “…And the Moon Was as Blood”
released around 1997.  Shortly after Süültanivus left the band and we
added Patrick Bruss (Crypticus) on guitar.  Around this tyme
Tophetarath joined Fog, known then by “Thy Darkest Empire”.  Patrick
left after a few months, and “Hordes” went on standby for a short time.
After a couple of months I joined Fog and put all my energies into
learning the Fog material along with writing new Fog material for the
“Through the Eyes of Night…” album.  After the Fog album was
released, Tophetarath and I began rewriting old material and putting
together new songs for the “Dancing Demons” album.  We also released 3
songs on a 4-way split CD with ourselves, Allfather, Nebron, and
Gnostic.  One of these songs went to the “Dancing Demons” album, while
the other 2 are not available on any other release.  We are currently
working on new songs for a 2nd album as well as a single for a
forthcoming compilation “Destroyers From the Western Skies”, and
perhaps a few more 7″ singles.  As to when the new L.P. will be out,
well, when it’s ready!  Tophetarath does all the recording and runs a
metal studio producing many other bands out of his basement.

>             3.             What is the biggest aim that dwells on your soul while giving
> life to Hordes of the Lunar Eclipse songs? Can you enlighten us more
on
> the ideogical part of the band?
Our aim with this music is to serve the music as it calls to us.  We go
by feel, with very little outside influence.  The “Hordes” ideology
isn’t based upon any set religion or belief, it’s more of a combination
of many dark aspects of many beliefs.  It’s difficult to explain and
nail down in words.  Words are always too weak to carry the weight of
the meanings they imply.

>             4.             Related with the previous question, for you, what should black
> metal deal with?I believe it should always be part of an idelogy and
> spiritaulism, what do you think about that?

Yes, Black Metal should deal with spiritualism, though that
spiritualism is  really up to the individual.  It should always deal
with darkness, however, black metal should always deal in some form of
evil, hatred, violence, despair, whatever…  The music must serve
darkness.

>             5.             How were the reactions “Dancing Demons…”?Are you satisfied with
> the general feedback?
General feedback for “Dancing Demons” has been good.  We’ve moved a lot
of CD’s, the album is also available on 12″ vinyl now as well, which,
in our opinion, is much more CULT and generally just sounds better than
the CD-version.  Go get one and see for yourself!!!

>             7.             Please give more information about the lyrical side of the
> Hordes of the Lunar Eclipse?Under which influences you compose
> lyrics?Arte there any exclusive “things” that you dedicate the lyrics
> to?
Hordes lyrics are inspired primarily by dream sequences and images, and
by simply sitting quietly thinking upon a subject, or feeling the
actual music of whatever song I may be writing the lyric for emulates
(for the songs I wrote or am writing lyrics for, Tophetarath also
writes lyrics for some of the songs).  Sometimes a piece of artwork or
literature will inspire a general mood that I will try to work into a
song, and cold weather is always inspirational to us both, I almost
always write lyrics in the winter tyme.  Most direct inspiration
however, does come from within, as opposed to without.  I always try to
write from my own personal darkness, this keeps the songs closer to me.

>             8.             Have you ever performed live?If yes, what can you say about the
> atmospheres of the performances?
Hordes has never performed live, there are only two of us.  We have
played live with Fog countless times.  Sometimes the feel was good,
other times not.  It’s really show-to-show, and whether or not you have
a promoter and/or sound man that is willing to do the sound as it
should be done, more as an art form to compliment the art of the music
instead of simply doing a job.  Many sound men don’t care about sound.
This often ruins a performance.  If you can be in control of all the
variables of putting on the live performance, it can be pulled off
rather well.  You will get across to the audience what you intend to,
the music will be felt as well as heard.  Otherwise the music gets
fucked up by someone who doesn’t give a shit about the music anyway, to
them it’s just a job, good sound or bad sound, they get paid.  When you
have a good sound system and a good sound man, preferably who is into
this specific type of music, you can get across the power the music
holds and the felling of this power is monumental.  You become this
power.  Playing live is the true test of a band.  You get one chance.
There are no over dubs or extra takes.  It’s battle, you stand or fall.
Too many times a band will lose this fight due to to the poor
weaponry
a promoter or sound man will provide, many live performers will
probably agree with this.

>             9.             And,do you think that is the Black Metal suitable for the live
> performances? How can a such kind of misathropy originated music
> performed live? What are the negative and positive sides  of
performing
> live for you?
Lately I have been too involved with my own music to really hear much
new music.  I have been working on several projects that keep me quite
busy.  I do not hear of much goings on in the “scene”.  There is very
little promotion of good metal shows and only a few bands locally.  I
am not on the internet, the only news I hear is word of mouth.  I don’t
have much to say about a “modern black metal ideology”, my own
ideologies and beliefs haven’t changed much at all.  I don’t know what
the “modern” belief is.  I don’t pay too much attention to what someone
else does or says, I’m busy doing my own thing.  The only new albums
I’ve heard metal-wise are Drudkh and Funeral Mist, both of which I like
a lot, great albums!!  U.S.-wise I hear little.  I have heard and have
seen Typhus perform live as far as black metal goes, it was good.  All
of the metal bands I am in are studio projects, I don’t get out much.

>             10.           Can you say your ideas on todays black metal scene?Do you
think
> are there some points skipped in nowadays “modern”black metal
> ideology?
Lately I have been too involved with my own music to really hear much
new music.  I have been working on several projects that keep me quite
busy.  I do not hear of much goings on in the “scene”.  There is very

>             12.           You are working with the Dark Horizon records at the moment.Do
> you content with their promotion etc? Will the next release also come
> from them?
Dark Horizon has done a fairly good job with promotion, and with the
distribution of the CD, as well as getting it licensed to be pressed on
vinyl with Serpent’s Caput.  The next release will be the compilation
single on “Destroyers of the Western Skies”.  Our next full-length will
most likely come out on Dark Horizon.

>             13.           Do you have any words for your enemies?
Our enemies?  If someone else doesn’t like what we do, Fuck ’em!  Don’t
listen to it.  I’m not into shit talking, it’s a waste of time.  If
other motherfuckers want to do that, whatever.  Talk is cheap.

>             14.           Ok,thanks for your time on Frost Mag,say your fave Bathory
song
> (Mine is “Woman of Dark Desires”) and close the interview please!?

Thank you Frost mag for the interview, we really do appreciate your
interest in the band….  Favorite Bathory song?  Luathca =
EQUIMANTHORN and Tophetarath = HOW DO YOU CHOOSE A FAVORITE BATHORY
SONG?!?  THEY’RE ALL PERFECT!!  Quorthon/Bathory is like the Elvis to
Rock and Roll!  HAIL the KING!

Fog Interview

.Salud Typhus! How is your life going on those days?I hope everything is all ok there!

Dark Horizon Records is stronger than ever and much is going on here. I am busy with the following bands. TYPHUS, FOG, FORMALDEHYDE SLEEP, MORPHEUS DESCENDS.

2.Lets start with the past activities of the “Fog”,your aims in creting the “Fog” and so on…It may be a bit boring yet informative for the ones who have heard of your name for the first time in the pages of Frost Magazine…

Fog has been around for quite a while now. We have the “In The Sorrow Of A Crimson Sea” demo, a split 7″ EP with Horna called “Whispered Myths Of Ancient Times”, our first album “Through The Eyes Of Night Winged They Come”, our second 7″ EP “From Within The Darkness Beyond Eternity”, and soon our second full length album will be out on Dark Horizon Records entitled “Disturbing The Balance Of The Spheres”. To those who own these they know! To those who don’t, well, your missing out!

3.How were the reactions to the latest Fog release “Throughout the eyes of the Nigh,Winged they come”?From the black metal pres, from the reviews etc?

The response was excellent. I have done many interviews, I have read many excellent reviews, and FOG have played many shows in support of this album. I am sure the new album will impress even more as this is the best work Fog has ever created!

4.Are you working on the new songs? What should we expect for the next “Fog” album?

The new album “Disturbing The Balance Of The Spheres” is almost done. All that is left are the vocals. I will finnish in the studio next month and the album will be released. The album will contain 9 Tracks. This is the best and most diverse material we have ever written. This will create standards for US bands to follow. The material is a more aggressive with a much better production that the first album. Fog have grown as musicians and the music has a much more organic sound. It has grown more dark and destructive than the first album. Those who know the band will not be dissappointed!

5. You have also run your own  label “Dark Horizon Records”.How came to create a label and how is it going the label’s activities? Can you enlighten us on more about the Dark Horizon?

I want to support and further the message and the cause of this music and lifestyle. To me this is not a simple hobbie or something to do for fun! It is a lifestyle. I eat, breath, and shit fucking metal! That is it!!! You can find out all the important information on all our bands and label activity at the Dark Horizon Records website www.darkhorizon666.com or write to us for a catalog and newsletter.

6. For you what kind of qualities that ablack metal label should have? What is the “false” and what is the “true” in the label business?

I think those who are involved deep enough in the scene already know the answer to that question. I will say no more.

7. Actually it must be difficult to run a lable nowadays. Why?As there is this free music thing,i mean mp3’s,file sharings etc. What are your ideas on these? What do you think on the free music?

Not really. If you stay true to what you do and support the scene and the bands in a die hard fashion, then it will return to you what you put in. As for MP3’s ect.. It does not bother me, it helps spread the message. And those who are into the metal scene die hard are all about buying and getting the limited pressings and supporting the bands and the scene.

8. While signing a deal with a band, what kind of specialities you are looking for? What kind of bands should “try” to get in contact with you?

I can only suggest bands to send their demos, that is how every band that is on Dark Horizon Records has been signed. There is no set pattern we use for signing bands. I think that is what separates Dark Horizon Records from the rest. Our releases are not signed for commercial reasons. I do not care if we sell 100 or 10,000. I sign bands because I am into them. That is it.

9. Returning to the “Fog”,may you give more info on the lyrical side of the the band, who writes then lyrics, under which moods?

I write all the lyrics. They focus on deep self philosophies. I write them for myself, and they have great meaning to me. Those who read them and relate obtain feelings or visions for themseves, they too are then incorporated into the philosophy and meaning… Listen, read, and understand….

10. Is there any gig planned soon? Moreover,in general, what do you think about the live black metal performances? It may be a kind of communication device between the listener and the musician ,but,to be honest with you Typhus,i generally do not  live black metal. It must be misanthropic i think, something mystic…

There are no live dates planned yet for this album. We are not sure if we will play any shows for this album yet. Time will tell….

It depends on the skill of the band. I think some bands can carry onto the stage the feeling, atmosphere, and mystique from their recordings. As with Fog, those who have witnessed will agree, we are one to do so…

11. What can can you say about the US black metal scene? Can you reveal some new names from your scene that deserves respect and an attention?

I think the US scend is becoming more important that in the past. There are some great bands here that deserve respect. Fog, Typhus, Hordes Of The Lunar Eclipse, Leviathan, Nachtmystium, Engorge, Black Witchery, Harvist etc…. There are many more but I will not make an endless list. For those who want more information, they should check out Dark Horizon Records. We support by distributing many US bands… Hail The Rise Of The US Hordes!!!!

12.What have you been listening to lately? Are you an open-minded listener or an orthodox kind of music lover?

I listen to many styles of music. Metal is that is closest to my blackened heart. Some things I have been listening to lately…

Drudkh, Funeral Mist, Deathspell Omega, Nachtmystium, Enslaved, Tom Waits, Ulver, Swans, Antimatter, Venom, Typhus, Fog, Watain, Craft, Khold, Rush, Ragnarok, Fluerety, Revenge, Opeth, Beherit, Blasphemy, etc…. I could list bands forever….. This is just a small list. We listen to tons of stuff every day as we get new stock in daily so there are tons of new bands and releases I could also list. But the list above are some that see regular play when we are at work…

13. Do you have any words for your enemies?Or for whom who talks “so fuckin much”  from  Fog’s back!?

We rise to power as the elite, and uphold the most blasphemous proclamation! Fuck your God!!!!!

14. Thanks Typhus, for your help and time for the Frost Magazine.last words  for the end chapter are yours!

Support the scene!!!! Support Dark Horizon Records and our bands!!!! Go to our website and fucking buy something!!!!

Black Funeral Interview

1. Hail Black Funeral!Lets start with the past
activities of the band, please introsuce your band to
the audience.
-Black Funeral has been in existence since 1993. I
formed the band to be one of the most extreme black
metal bands in America, considering there were so few
then. I had to have session members because no one
wanted to dedicate themselves to the extreme musick of
black metal then. It was mostly people who wanted to
play normal death metal, which I do not dislike, I
wanted my _expression in the way of Bathory, Sodom,
Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Mayhem, etc. Previously I
played in a black metal band called Sorath. I
considered Black Funeral to be a strong _expression in
my studies and practices of Predatory Spiritualism,
called vampirism and based on the initiatory work of
Hekal Tiamat. I formed an Order called Black Order of
the Dragon within fellow initiates from the USA and
Sweden. Black Funeral has recorded numerous extreme
CDS and demos since the early to mid ninties, and
continue today.

2. And latest line up of course.
-Black Funeral is of my essence and blood of course,
but joined now with two Luciferian Witches who work
with me in other projects, namely Hexentanz,
Psychonaut 75. Dana Dark, a well known model from
Gothic Sluts, and the occult artist Lux Ferro and
doing vocals and working with compositions and such. I
create Black Funeral’s music alone, in an
industrialized way, I enjoy the cold machine like
sound, they very compliment of Azi-Dahaka, who is the
dedicated subject of our new CD, “Az-i-Dahak”, which
is now released via Behemoth Records of Italy.

3. I think you are working on some new songs at the
moment, can you enlighten us about these new Black
Funeral songs? What kind of musical character should
listeners wait for this time?
-We have a new CD recorded, “Az-i-dahak” and have
recorded 4 new songs for a re-release of “Vampyr –
Throne of the Beast” via Drakkar Records of France.
This CD/LP will be a 10 year anniversary release with
more extreme material celebrating the essence of the
Romanian hero Vlad Tepes Dracul, whom I consider an
important figure in human history, one who displayed
the attributes of the Adversary. He was well learned
in Turkish customs as well. Our musical style is more
industrialized, yet it is our best yet. It is not
beyond the concepts of black metal, actually more so
than ever. It is cold, violent, harsh and brutal in
its way. We are working on much more material as well
which we hope to record soon.

4. Actually i want to learn more about your lyrical
depiction style? What kind of themes you employ and
under which unholy inspirations?5. On the other handa
re you thinking of changing your lyrical concept in
coming releases?
-Only developing it further. Here is a description of
“Az-i-Dahak” which your readers may find interesting:
Black Funeral returns with their new CD, “Az-i-Dahak”,
being the first full length recorded since 1996.
“Az-i-Dahak” is a strong resurrection of the 1990’s
American cult black metal band, known for extreme
attitudes and destructive music. The founder of Black
Funeral, Michael Ford, known as Akhtya Nachttoter,
occupied his time in the upcoming dark elektro
industrial band Psychonaut 75 and the medieval
ritualistic group Hexentanz. Although Black Funeral
has been somewhat dormant for several years, Ford
considered that he would return to black metal if he
could contribute something powerful to it. “As we had
along with our colleges, Acheron, Von, Demoncy, Absu
and others led the American Black Metal scene in the
early 1990’s, I had the challenge of not simply
revising and rehashing black metal, but to bring some
different twist to it, without losing the brutality
and cold deathlike feeling. Considering that it has
indeed been 10 years since Black Funeral began, I
wanted a strong awakening of the band.” The new CD
“Az-i-Dahak” is a concept of ancient Persian Satanic
or Ahriman – worship, pre-Christian themes which
actually influenced Christian theory. Az-i-Dahak is
the name of a mythological Assyrian king who was said
to have made a pact with Ahriman, who was kissed upon
the shoulders by Satan and spawned two black serpents.
These snakes ate the brains of humans, and Zohak or
Azi Dahaka slowly became known as the “Fiendish Snake”
or “Storm Fiend”. He was dethroned and imprisoned in a
mountain in Iran, always seeking to awake as an
“Antichrist”, who will bring industry, steel, iron and
machinery to an apocalyptic chaos.

– Medieval Black Metal awakened in an Industrial
Deathlike Age – Warlike hymns to Smash the Skull of
God –

5. Once i heard that you despise Anton LaVey?Can you
mention more about it?I hate this old liar pig as
well, like i hate all kind of ecclesiastical ‘beings’on
this earth.Lord has no need to apprantice i think.
-No I do not dispise Anton LaVey, his work meant a lot
to where Satanism and similar thought has arisen
today. I explore much deeper than his work, as it is
for the masses. I prefer the source concepts he looked
into and that is the area which I am developing my own
form of sorcery.

6. May be a bit related with the previous question,do
you think is it true to try to ‘unite’ or keep it
under the name of ‘church’,especially when you try to
spread or perform unholy black arts?Dont you think
individualism is more important that that kind of shit
called ‘united’ bla under the name of any
‘church’?Morons.
-Useful from a media perspective, it bring opposition,
however a common perception of “Satan”. The Adversary
is a much deeper concept than most in any church can
perceive, it must be found in isolation, individually
and cannot be a group mind. That is what I dislike
about organized religions = sheepherding.

7. Another thing i highly appreciate in Black Funeral
is that you dont give any fuckin gigs.Regarding that
true black metal must be a ‘misanthropic’,what can you
say about these concert/festival kids? What do you
think about live black metal performances?
-Black Funeral will perform live when I feel ready and
when I can ensure the cult is presented correctly. I
don’t give shows just to make money or because a label
pressures me, I do not move Black Funeral in a way to
compromise the essence of the band.

8. Are there any underground bands that you support
?Can you give som names?
-Yes, Kult ov Azazel, Demoncy, Acheron, and our new
project ORDO TYRANNIS, doom/black metal which is
similar to Archon Satani/Thorns/Winter..

9. What is your general ideas about todays scene?Do
you think we arrived at a kind of end /changing point
in black metal?
-As long as bands keep trying different aspects of
black metal, the scene will grow. When you do the same
thing over and over again it gets dull.

10. What are you listening nowadays? Are you still into
classics?like legendary Bathory or Celtic Frost?
-Yes I am very much, I like the first four Bathory’s,
Hellhammer, Celtic Frost (nothing PAST Into the
Pandemonium right now), Sodom (first two), and VON.

11. What do you think about todays black metal
publications?I mean about zines/magazines?Do you still
buy read this kind of printed arts?
-Sometimes, but it depends on the content. I want to
see interesting bands, not a repeat of what I did 10
years ago! But there are some great ones emerging!

12. Thanks for your time on this.Last words of wisdom
is yours?Hail!
-Thank you for your support. Worship the darkness
within..

Funeral, Feb 2005

Akerbeltz Interview

1.       Hei Akerbeltz!Honor is the feeling i have at the moment as i again got the chance of questing a band that is still brave and true enough to survive a war against todays degenerated and anti-heathenic shitty black metal scene. So,if you dont mind may i take your aims in creating Akerbeltz, and a brief summary about ancient propagandas of the band?

-Akerbeltz supports the war on the right path, and Death upon the human race and the jews, the reason for the existance of Akerbeltz is to keep the banner of Black Metal in the place it deserves, and that is at the top of the triangle of Metal, the pure evolution towards wickedness.

2.       As far as i know,Akerbeltz is an one man project at the moment.Have you ever thought of including any other members to the band’s line up?

-There’s no way I can include another member in Akerbeltz’s line up because that could corrupt the unpurity of the band.

3.       Being a one man project is generally a difficult yet great thing,i mean,of course it has some negative points yet less than the positive ones.Am i right? On the other hand Frost Mag is also a one man project, not because of i am a genius fucker but because it is really hard to find a dedicated member/helper or what the heck…I think the same idea can be finely focused on especially when when we consider the difficulties about finding a decent member for a band’s line up.What can you say about these?

-In the Black Metal scene, there are not many people that can be considered True, it’s hardly imposible to know someone with this condition in a small area, so in the end the result is that the most wicked bands of Black Metal that exist have just one or two members.

4.       What can you say about Spain’s black metal scene?Do you think are there only rip-off bastards who just play to take i piece from the cake or there are also some ideologically correct bands existing?

-In Spain it happens like in the rest of  the countries, there are millions of  trends that record a stupid demo and talk about their demo and say it’s the best and the most wicked and pure and unholy and bla bla bla shit for ten years and pretend that the rest of the bands are even worse than their’s…. That’s the reason why I normaly don’t take part of the spanish scene, I must say though that there are some bands that think like me and I respect them, most of this ones are part of the Iberian Pride.

5.       What are the future plans for the Akerbeltz? Are you working on a new blasphemic material?

-I’ve just finished my fith full length recording, it will be released by Chaos Productions (France) in colaboration with SMR Vinland (U.S.A.), this time there will be even less copies so that less non worthy people will be able to get this material.

6.       Actually i want to take your opinions about these huuge fuckin fests/gigs?What do you think when you see these pseudo black metal bands on the stage ,in front of the thousand asshole?Considering that the true black metal must be misanthropic and anti-human,what can you say about such kind of live activities?

-As soon as a Black Metal band gets into a stage it looses all it’s darkness and it’s value, Black Metal is not for playing live, we have other kinds of extreme metal for this type of shows…

7.       For you, what is the biggest virus that is created by the ecclesiastical beings on the world’s cultures?Do you think any kind of religion could appear as a lifestyle?I think all ecclesiastical ‘sleeping pills’ are nothing but the destroyer of the cultures and individuals…

-Religion is a way ot mind control for the meek, human beeings need shepards to guide them because they have a weak mind, and all religions need to have the population under control, it really is a way of life because human beings fear the anarchy and the chaos;  the mass is like one only individual, a sleeping giant with one simple mind, thick and stupid that needs to hear the correct words to act, but once the message is heard, this big  entity cannot be stoped and it will kill and destroy everything that gets in it’s way until it receives another order, human beeings use religion as a way of common thought, who controls the thought of a religion will control the whole world!

8.       What do you think about the senfonic black metal of nowadays? Will we see the ‘hardcoric’black metal soon thanks to these kittens?

-There’s only one style of Black Metal, all these circus musicians that imitate our immage or try to spread or copy our word don’t deserve my attention.

9.       Are there any philosophies that you feel yourself  close to?

-My philosophy is the chaos and Death of all, I stand with all the philosophies that get close to this idea, but I also discuss their thought when they pretend to be “right”, Black Metal stands under the Black Flag of Hate, no human ideology has ever arrived to this extreme until now, we walk under the Black Star of Hell that swallows the light of hope…

10.   Have you got any side projects? For you,in which aspect it effects the creativity of the artist to be a part of any other band besides his own one?

-I’m working in a side project called Körgull The Exterminator, I will play under another name because the style of this project is slightly different to Akerbeltz, now is the moment to do this because if I continued composing for Akerbeltz at this time, the band could be contaminated with some influences that don’t have place in my mission.

I’ve also played in Beheaded Lamb and with Harridan, the reason for doing side projects for me is not other than this one.

11.   What have you been listening lately? Are there some new names in your cd player or are you still hooked on the classic unholy acts from the early 90 s ?

-I listen to Warloghe, Dark Thule, Morrigan, Goddless North, Iuvenes, old Wolfnacht and some other bands….

12.   Any words for enemies?

-My enemies don’t deserve my attention.

13.   It is all from me,complete the spell with your words of wisdom?

-If you want to be a part of what is going to happen in a short time, kill yourself and if you want to go against our legions just fight against us and we will kill you slowly and eat your soul…

Abazagorath Interview

1. Ave !Lets take a fast start with the brief history of this sickness called Abazagorath!

This cancer called ABAZAGORATH was first diagnosed in the spring of 1995. I don’t want to bore everyone reading with nine years of inane bullshit, so here are the highlights…. Our first release was the “Channelling the Ethereal Moons” 3 song MCD which we released ourselves in January 1996. We recorded 2 demos that year as well, leading up to our signing with Elegy Records. The resulting effort, the 13 track “Tenebrarum Cadent Exsurgemus” CD came out in March 1997. We played a number of sick gigs over the ensuing years, but kept quiet as far as recordings due to some turmoil in the line up. We did record a cover of “Funeral Fog” in 2000 for a USBM tribute to MAYHEM that was never released. In 2001 we recorded 7 tunes that would later appear on “The Spirit of Hate for Mankind” 7″ record (Blood Fire Death Records – July 2002) and the “Enshrined Blasphemer” MCD (Agonia Records – October 2003). In 2002 we recorded 3 songs for use on a double LP comp that has still not come out. We ended up passing that around as a promo for a while. We finally got around to recording the second full length, “Sacraments of the Final Atrocity” in February this year, and it saw the light in late March through our own Morbid Wrath imprint. Out of the original ABAZAGORATH incarnation, Warhead (drums) and Morgul (guitar) have been with me all along. Newer initiate Nihilist (vocals) has been with us for about 2 years now, and the new kid, lead guitarist Ciemnosc came aboard over the past summer.

2. How are the audience reacting to the latest opus ‘Sacraments of the Final Atrocity’?

So far, so good. I have seen mostly very favorable reviews to the new CD up to now. The first pressing is now out of stock from us. Quite a few distros worldwide have it available for sale. At the moment we are in the process of doing some minor re-mixing and re-mastering to enhance the sound quality before the second edition goes into press through Necroharmonic Productions.

3. In one of the interviews that you spell;you said ‘Bands like MARDUK and IMMORTAL do major tours and ANCIENT has signed a long term deal with METAL BLADE RECORDS! The mystique and “cult-like” atmosphere is ruined!’Actually i should appreciate you for these fine words. So,what can you say about todays domesticated black metal bands?

You really did some obscure zine research to dig out that quote…. I think that was from like 1998 or something. But, I still stand by my answer…. Yes, a lot of the influential bands from the 90s BM scene basically went ahead, “progressed” and eventually killed off the spirit that haunted us…. Fortunately, there are some who stick to their guns and others to pick up the banner when it has been dropped. For one, I hail MARDUK as one of those bands who stayed true to their ideals. I think their problem has been a few generic releases over the past couple of years. I have to say I look forward to hearing what the newest line up presents with “Plague Angel.” Look at FUNERAL MIST, the origination point for their new vocalist Arioch / Mortuus…. A great example of a Black Metal band creating compelling material that comes from the right direction…

4. What do you think about this senfonic black metal shit?Which consists of tremendous productions ,first class(!)recording quality, expensive hotels, fuckin huge fests!Where is your spirit pigs!?Where is your feelings you suckers!

Symphonic music is fine if it’s for a movie soundtrack or to take your girlfriend out for a night at the opera, but please don’t mix it with my Metal!!!! Honestly, we just gave a critical listen to the dimmu borgir “deathcult armageddon” disc at the studio, comparing it to the sound “Sacraments…” should have once the re-mastering is done, and I can tell you that Nuclear Blast is paying the studios way too much to produce that cheesy, thin garbage with no bottom end… To me, the issue isn’t necessarily with the expensive production values, luxury hotels (Hell, it was nice to have the chance to sleep in a soft bed and take a shower in a clean bathroom one or two of the nights on our Euro tour…) or major festival shows, it’s with how these bands reach that level of “success” and how they conduct themselves at that point: like sell outs and posers…. Considering how much I have invested in ABAZAGORATH as far as time, money and energy, I am doing this for greater reasons than fame or fortune. It’s all about unleashing the demons inside and giving praise to Darkness…

5. What can you say about USA black metal underground?Do you have some recommends for us?

I think the US scene has been getting pretty killer over the years…. Some recommendations? Sure… How about a few old classics like VON, ABSU, DEMONCY, NECROVORE or PROFANATICA…. Then we have BLACK WITCHERY, GRAND BELIAL’S KEY, KRIEG, KROHM, XASTHUR, LEVIATHAN, NACHTMYSTIUM, BAHIMIRON, CULT OF DAATH, BLOOD STORM, HORN OF VALERE, IBEX THRONE, MANTICORE, THORNSPAWN and JUDAS ISCARIOT amongst others…. Personally, I think more attention and respect should be paid to what is going on here in the US…

6. Are you planning a new live ritual soon?On the other hand ,excepting your being musician-just as a fan-,do you like going to gigs?

Right at the moment, we have no upcoming concerts planned. This past year we were pretty busy on the live front, starting off with our 9 date European tour with DEMONCY and KRIEG back in April and then with 4 shows in New York City and up in New England in September – October. Of course going to many Metal shows through the years was one of my big motivations to go out and get into a band myself. I was lucky enough to experience a lot of the 80s Thrash explosion first hand, seeing bands like SLAYER, VOIVOD, CELTIC FROST, EXODUS, KING DIAMOND, DESTRUCTION, and KREATOR live when they were at the height of their creative power, and that had a huge impact on me…. Up until a few years ago I would get to as many Black or Death Metal concerts as possible. These days I don’t go to as many shows as I once did…. A lot of the shows going on lately are usually just with bands I’ve seen before or don’t give a shit about… Unfortunately, most of the bands I would be most interested to see live, like say WATAIN, SATANIC WARMASTER or DEATHSPELL OMEGA aren’t exactly playing over here all the time…. But still, one of the bonuses of playing gigs ourselves is getting to perform with and check out killer bands like BLACK WITCHERY, PROFANATICA, GRAND BELIAL’S KEY, SADISTIC INTENT, NUN SLAUGHTER, DESTROYER 666 or MARDUK….

7. What do you feel when you listen your own songs?I mean, lets say, you heard it from the radio while you are in a car!

I actually really have a hard time listening to any of my own recordings and enjoying them to the fullest extent…. I have a pretty critical ear and too often dwell on the things I wish we had done better while recording!!!!! But, it still is a nice rush sometimes to crank up the car stereo loud and blast some of our CDs while I’m blazing down the highway!!!

8. What can you say about Abazagorath’s lyrical character?I think they have a lot to do with unholy blasphemy, profanation!

Lyrically, we are pretty much “by the book” Black Metal…. Nothing but Satanism, War, Desecration, Depression, Hate, Darkness, and Blasphemy here, kiddies!!!! I do think we are going to be taking things to a deeper, more introspective level with our upcoming material. Bringing the darkness within to light….

9. Meanwhile,What does the name Abazagorath stands for?It s an interesting name!

ABAZAGORATH is to be defined as the “Spirit of Hate for Mankind.”

10. Nazionel Socialistic attitudes is being pseudoely employed among some new coming black metal bands ,and it s often being used to create a stronger/tough image that they couldnt create with the music only.I ,of course ,dont want you to cry out your political views here yet want to learn your opinion about this?

We don’t have anything to do with the NS movement, but we do have a number of close colleagues who follow that path, and that’s fine. There are a certain number of artists with this affiliation that I do enjoy listening to from time to time, and we have shared the stage with a few bands espousing these views on a few occasions. That being said, life loving hippies and peaceniks have no place being involved with Black Metal, so if you can’t take the hate…. get the fuck out of the scene….

11. Every  dedicated underground dog have already known about your anti christian propaganda, but what do you think about the other ecclesastical beings around, other religions coming from these fuckin deserts?

Fuck the Middle East!!!! Nuke ‘em all!!!!

12. Have you ever had problems with the cops?

Speaking for myself, I have never had any hassles from the cops…. Some of the other guys have been in jail once or twice for some “legal infractions.” It’s best to do certain things “under the radar” of the authorities, if you know what I mean…

13. On the other hand what do you think about the shit called ‘censorship’?In the previous issue of the Frost Mag,King from Gorgoroth was saying that it depends on what you want to ‘censor’…

Well, I think I understand where King is coming from on this. I mean, if we were in charge and could censor the church or ban gay bands like limp bizkit or cradle of shit, we probably would, right??? Fortunately, as much as it seems that freedom of _expression is becoming an endangered species here in the US, ABAZAGORATH has never had any problems with censorship. The closest thing to it has been some problems with printers refusing to print our CD booklets because they were advised by their priests not to do business with the Devil!!!

14. Do you still listen cassettes?I still have tons of tapes and i m not going to burn them like the newschool pigs !Actually i always think that Black metal conceptionally suits tapes than th Cds ,in terms of raw / mystic sound ,but it s just an opinion of mine…

Yeah, cassettes are great. When I first got into Metal in the mid 80s, just about all the music I bought was on tape. I still have almost all the Thrash and Death Metal classics from that era on cassette!!! Hundreds of ‘em!!!! I still do enjoy picking up some good old demo tapes or cassette editions of CDs I already have from time to time. I’m particularly pleased that my comrade Vasili of Ancient Spirit Terror Productions released a limited edition (200 copies) ABAZAGORATH tape entitled “The Ancient Cult” earlier this year. Seven demo / rehearsal tracks from 1996, 1998 and 2002 appear on it. We have had a few offers from some parties regarding cassette editions of “Sacraments…” and even “Tenebrarum…” We have not moved forward on that yet because I don’t think the right label to do that with has come along yet.

15. What is idea on this metal ‘forums’?It has been very fashionable nowadays.People who is not brave enough to talk/discuss face to face sit in front of the computer and becomes metal music philosopher, spitting each other s backs…

These forums and message boards are something that I have very little to do with. Nihilist goes on a few and occasionally posts some relevant information concerning our activities, but I certainly despise all the faceless geeks with their grandstanding and shit talking. One of the things I can’t stand about the so called scene of today…

16. What kind of books you read?Do you also like reading zines/mags that dedicated to this scene ?

I definitely enjoy reading. I haven’t read as many books lately as I once did. The last one I started was “The Return of the King” which I started back about a year and a half ago, got up to page 261 and haven’t picked it up in 9 or 10 months!!! Lucky for me the movie came out so I could see how it ends… I particularly like to read horror novels, history books – mostly relating to military topics or international politics, true crime accounts, books on witchcraft and the occult, and the occasional spy, action or mystery novel. Metal zines are the one thing that I am almost constantly reading. A couple of my current acquisitions that I am really enjoying include the brand new issue of “Wheresmyskin (9MM),” “The Realm of Nachzehrer #7 ,” “Intrinsic Depravity #1,” and “Bylec-Tum #11.” Plus there are the all time classics like “Slayer,” “Descent,” “Desecration of Virgin,” or “Tales of the Macabre.” Some other great ones are”Stratanael MegaSin,” “Horrible Eyes,” “Leather-N-Spikes,” “Bloodaxe,” “Agonia,” “Oaken Throne” or “Canadian Assault.” Of all the underground Metal related things in my life, zines are one of the most prized…. I got turned on to a lot of killer stuff that way… With the onset of the computer age working its way in to the scene, we have seen a rise in webzines and a decline in print mags, but there will always be a place for a cut and paste rag in my life!!!! Hail to all editors who still do it the old way!!!!!

17. And,while composing the lyrics which one of those two gives the biggest inspiration to you;Books or Daily life?

Whenever I write lyrics, I primarily take inspiration from ideas or thoughts that come from within my own warped mind and depressive personality, or what I see going on in the world around me. But we have been inspired by books and also films at times. I actually got the idea for the title of the new album from a line I heard in a Spanish horror film called “The Nameless.”

18. Do you any words for your enemies?

Fuck off and die, bitches!!!!

19. Thanks for your time, you can close this interview with the last words for the ugly readers of Frost Mag!Hail!

Anyone in search of additional information or available merchandise can look at our website – While you are on there, check out the Morbid Wrath distro page because we are starting to build up a pretty nice stock of Metal goods for sale. You can contact me at As far as what the future will bring from ABAZAGORATH, look out for the re-issue of “Sacraments…” through Necroharmonic Productions. There also should be the LP version of “Enshrined Blasphemer” to look forward to from Agonia. As far as new material goes, Bestial Onslaught Productions is planning for us to do a split picture disc LP with BLOOD STORM and I have been in touch with some of the guys from Thai War Metal squadron ZYGOATSIS (which features some ex-members of the notable SURRENDER OF DIVINITY) about trying to put together another split CD /LP with them…. Finally, thanks a lot for the interest in ABAZAGORATH and giving me the chance to get the readers of “Frost” up to speed on what we are all about…. Hail !!!!!
